The CRI is now Administering the Information Institute
Effective October 1, the Cyber Research Institute will be operating the Information Institute at the Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate (AFRL/RI)! The Information Institute (II) is not a corporation, but a consortium of approx 80 colleges and universities that have educational partnership agreements (EPAs) with AFRL/RI. These universities are the primary outlet for Directorate announcements regarding summer research opportunities through the Visiting Faculty Research Program (VFRP), the AFOSR Summer Faculty Fellowship Program (SFFP), and the National Research Council (NRC) Research Associateships Program. Visit the official Information Institute page to learn more. CRI leadership of the Information Institute will be in additional to all of our other activities, and will be a significant tool through which the CRI executes its mission of promoting advanced research activities in conjunction with AFRL/RI.
